WELCOME TO OUR SECTION

HoS1.png

It is with great pride that I have been given the opportunity as Head of Section to write these few words.

The Anglophone Section at the Cité Scolaire Internationale (CSI) in Lyon, France provides a world-class and comprehensive education to its students from across the English-speaking world. Established in 1987, our Section is the largest of the nine international sections that make up the one-of-a-kind internationally-minded institution that is the CSI Lyon. Students who attend the Anglophone Section at the CSI study a dual programme which is both bilingual (English & French) and bicultural, working towards the Baccalauréat Français International (BFI) examination in their final year.

Our Section is indeed an international section within an international school. The Anglophone Section is made up of students and teachers from all around the world and is the embodiment of what diversity and multi-culturalism looks like. English is our lingua franca and inclusiveness is our ethos. We look forward to seeing our students thrive, flourish and become 21st century global citizens. The CSI Lyon and the Anglophone Section already have a history going back 30 years and we hope that you will join us to write the future together.

I invite you to explore our website fully to find out more about our school and our Section. If you have any questions or need more information, you can use our contact page to get in touch.
