Everyday Life at the CSI Lyon
The Anglophone Section is the largest of the nine International Sections that are hosted by the CSI Lyon. The CSI Lyon is a French state school, which functions accordingly and which has a particular mission to provide education for students from all over the world. We understand, therefore, that many of our parents will not be familiar with the French education system.
To help our families adapt to the French system we have created a Guide for Anglophone Section Parents to help you understand the school rules, daily routines, and expectations. We encourage you to read through this handbook carefully alongside similar documents provided by the CSI administration, as it will help us to work together to ensure a positive and enriching experience for your child.

Remember also to consult the school website regularly as you will find updates and other information about school life posted there. https://csilyon.ent.auvergnerhonealpes.fr/
Examples of Student Timetables
We’re sharing these example timetables to give prospective students a realistic snapshot of a typical school day in the CSI Lyon for students in an International Section, to help them feel more prepared and confident from day one. By seeing how subjects are scheduled, when breaks occur, and how extracurriculars fit in, students—and their families—can better understand the daily rhythm and structure of school life at different points.
