The atmosphere in the grande gymnase was buzzing with excitement as over 250 parents and siblings joined our Terminale students and their teachers to celebrate our first formal Graduation Ceremony!
Looking extremely smart in their blue gowns and caps, the students made their way to the stage to receive diplomas and congratulations from their teachers. Speeches by the President of APESA, the Head of the Anglophone Section and Mme Geib paid tribute to the hard work and dedication of the students. Keynote speeches, musical performances, memories of their time at the school and funny interludes were provided by the students themselves.
We’d like to extend our gratitude to: Dr Herd, Mr Badou, Ms Whittock-Judge and Ms McKain for organising the event; to the APESA Board for purchasing gowns, caps and decorations; to the volunteer students and parents who blew up balloons and decorated the venue; and to the teachers for being there, right to the end, to support the students in their Terminale year!
