INTERSEC Book Fair
15th & 16th November, CSI Lyon

The INTERSEC Foire aux Livres makes a welcome return this year, with some concessions to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions. Separate events have been organised for primary and secondary and the usual gestes barrieres will be put in place during the events. Only pupils / students and parent-volunteers will be allowed to visit the stalls (no visitors from outside the school are permitted).

The Book Fair offers an opportunity for APESA families to buy second-hand English-language books at very low prices (0,50 to 1€ per item).

Primary: Monday 15 November 2021, 10h00 to 16h30, le Préau

Collège & Lycée: Tuesday 16 November, 09h00 to 16h00, rue Centrale

Parent-volunteers are needed to help run the stalls! Two parents per Section stall are needed for each hourly slot. If you can help out by volunteering (and take advantage of the opportunity to buy some books!) please use this Doodle form to tell the organisers when you are available.

Christmas Markets
9th & 10th December, CSI Lyon

Looking for APESA volunteers!

This year's Christmas Markets, organised jointly by INTERSEC and the International Sections, will be held on the 9th & 10th December. As with the Book Fair, ongoing Covid restrictions mean that participation will be limited to students and registered parent-volunteers only.

We are looking for volunteers to help out with the Christmas Markets in different ways:

  • By volunteering to take a 1.5hr slot on the Anglophone Section stand. Please use the Doodle for Primary (9th December) and the Doodle for Secondary (10th December) to let us know when you can help. You can either tick one slot that is convenient for you OR you can tick as many as you are available for and we will allocate one of these to you.

  • By baking some Christmas treats or supplying some gifts / crafts / decorations for sale at the Anglophone Section stall. Please contact volunteering@csianglo.org to let us know what you would like to donate.
