ANGLOPHONE SECTION

Dear Parents,

We hope you enjoyed the Toussaint break and like us, are looking forward to some fun activities that are being planned at the CSI with Intersec’s Book Fair (Foire aux Livres) on 15th & 16th November and the Christmas Market on 9th & 10th December. For the Christmas Market we will be looking for volunteers to help run the APESA stall and to supply us with lovely Christmas treats and gifts to sell.  Further details about these events can be found here.

 

We are also delighted to report that both our libraries (primary and secondary) are now OPEN for students to not only borrow books, but to take a moment to relax and read in a lovely calm (and warm) place during breaks. Our wonderful parent volunteers and library co-ordinators are helping to keep the secondary library open for longer periods throughout the day.

As you know the APESA Annual General Meeting was held on the 18th of October and the Board and Staff were delighted to see over 80 parents in attendance (click here to find the the AGM presentations and a list of the new Board members ). We greatly appreciate your interest in the management of the Section and look forward to seeing you again at our “Spring Meet”, which is planned for halfway through the school year: watch this space for more information.

Be an active APESA member: get involved and support the Anglophone Section! 

Education in the section is about much more than hours in the classroom. Thanks to the support of our active volunteer parents the APESA is able to offer a wide variety of services, activities and events throughout the year and we strongly encourage all parents to actively support the association. Whatever your skills and expertise, any time you can give or skills that you can share are greatly appreciated. Please contact our Volunteer Committee volunteering@csianglo.org to let us know how you can help out.
